History Of The Guild
Her daughter, for a school project interviewed the founder Jane Bouck, she was quoted as saying "I would like to start a quilting guild."
This interview was printed in the school paper and then the local paper. Jane at that time owned a fabric shop, was approached by a regular customer and wanted to know when she was starting up the guild. Jane put an ad in the paper for people interested in starting a quilting guild, to meet at the Wardens Teahouse (In Fort Saskatchewan), 15 individuals attended. That was in May 1995.
